  I wasn't a guest at the resort but I did stop in for ice cream after a nearby hike. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a beautiful patio overlooking the river and there's a small shop that has good combination of essentials and souvenirs.

  Just for fun, I was looking back at some of Galice Resort Reviews and I found something interesting to me.
  
  Unhappy people = Unhappy whinny working people & unhappy whinny people on vacation. How very sad.... It's kind of okay to wait a little bit for your dinner to arrive in front of your face. Just sayin...

  Galice Resort was, in a word, an experience. They definitely have that right on their sign. The staff were helpful and efficient, the food was great, and the live music was some of the best I've had at this sort of establishment. My time at Galice Resort started with a rafting trip down the river. The raft rental was relatively cheap, and a shuttle service was available to bring your rental boat to your chosen launch point, though we opted to use our own vehicle for that. After a fun filled three hour float down class 4 rapids, we arrived back at the resort, and the helpful staff were already waiting to assist us with bringing the vessel back in. It wasn't long after that we were seated and enjoying a great meal (I had the fish basket) while taking in a performance from the local group funktionalfusion. Definitely a perfect end to the evening.
  
  Amid all of my praise though there is room for improvement at Galice Resort. The restrooms were obviously not intended for the size of the crowd that was packed into the tiny resort, and long waits were the norm.
  
  Aside from that one gripe, I can't help but encourage anybody with the opportunity to visit Galice Resort. It's worth it.
